DESCRIPTION:Join us for our Summer Swim to getting you in the water. \nOur open water swimming sessions\, are ideal for those who are wanting to learn\, train or develop their open water swimming skills\, or even just get in for the embrace of the cold water. \nTo join us for open water swimming this Summer\, you must join as a Summer member\, and this will enable you to access the booking system. \nRequirements: \nAll swimmers should have prebooked their Summer Swimming Membership to allow them to book on. \nParticipants should be able to swim 50 metres unaided and will be asked to demonstrate the first time they swim. \nBook a Swim Slot \n

SUMMARY:RYA Level 2 (Adult)
DESCRIPTION:The RYA Level 2 – Basic Skills Sailing course is for sailors who have competed Level 1 or have previous relevant sailing experience\, it teaches you all the skills and theory necessary to get you helming a dinghy confidently on your own\, Sailing around a triangular course using the 5 Essentials\, leaving and returning to a shore\, jetty or mooring\, recovering a man overboard and capsize drill. During the two days\, you will spend maximum time on the water in Wayfarer’s – with the opportunity of sailing a single-handed boat\, with the instructor close at hand to guide you safely and expertly throughout the day. \nAll equipment is provided\, including a wetsuit and buoyancy aid. \nThis qualification is the pre requisite to hiring dinghies at most RYA recognised centres \nThis is a two-day course\, is 7 hours a day\, and upon successful completion of the course\, you’ll receive an RYA Level 2 certificate.
