DESCRIPTION:The RYA Level 2 – Basic Skills Sailing course is for sailors who have competed Level 1 or have previous relevant sailing experience\, it teaches you all the skills and theory necessary to get you helming a dinghy confidently on your own\, Sailing around a triangular course using the 5 Essentials\, leaving and returning to a shore\, jetty or mooring\, recovering a man overboard and capsize drill. During the two days\, you will spend maximum time on the water in Wayfarer’s – with the opportunity of sailing a single-handed boat\, with the instructor close at hand to guide you safely and expertly throughout the day. \nAll equipment is provided\, including a wetsuit and buoyancy aid. \nThis qualification is the pre requisite to hiring dinghies at most RYA recognised centres \nThis is a two-day course\, is 7 hours a day\, and upon successful completion of the course\, you’ll receive an RYA Level 2 certificate. Logbook and certificate included in the price. \nWe would recommend booking Level 1 and 2 if you wish to hire Dinghy’s. \nAt most RYA recognised centres the Level 2 is generally required and from experience the consecutive weekends or days works best for students learning to sail. \nTimings: 9:30am – 4:30pm everyday \nRequirements \n\n\n\n\nWater Confidence \n\nBook now onto our RYA Level 1 Course
