RYA Stage 2 (Oppy)
The RYA Stage 2 is part of the RYA Youth Sailing Scheme providing an enjoyable and progressive way to learn to sail.
Having completed the RYA Stage 1 (Oppy), the RYA Stage 2 (Oppy) is continuing to develop basic sailing skills, as well as ropework and collision avoidance. You will be able to tack and control boat speeds, leaving you in a good position to progress.
You will spend maximum time on the water in Oppys, with the instructor close at hand to guide you safely and expertly throughout the day. All equipment is provided, including a wetsuit and buoyancy aid.
This is a three-day course, 6 hours a day, and upon successful completion of the course, you’ll receive an RYA Stage 2 certificate. Logbook and certificate included in the price.
Timings: 10am – 4:30pm everyday
